Solving: Opera Turbo Not Working On Opera 38+

Opera Turbo is ones of great feature of Opera. Motsly user used its to bypass blocked access on certain website from Their ISP or Government. After Opera announce that they will give VPN feature (not launching yet, still coming soon) also starting on Opera 38 and up, Opera Turbo not working anymore.

If you want still use Opera Turbo you can downgrade into Opera 37.0.2178.54 version or older.

Before you install Opera 37, you need to disable auto update.

1. Open Control Panel > Systems and Security > System > Advanced system setting

2. Click Environment Variables...

3. Create New Variables under User Variables For ....

4. Input this:

Variable Name : OPERA_AUTOUPDATE_DISABLED

Variable Value : OPERA_AUTOUPDATE_DISABLED

5. Install Opera 37.0.2178.54 version or older. Than Open Opera to check update disabled or not, open url: Opera:About

Now you can use Opera Turbo without problems. Until VPN Feature available on next Opera release.
